When Smart Live Group wanted to elevate their client's annual Christmas celebration beyond the typical festive format, they turned to Wonderosity to design a fully immersive, theatrical experience that would surprise, delight, and transport guests straight into the glittering world of Jay Gatsby.

Hosted at the opulent Restaurant Ours in West London, the brief was clear: create a one-night-only celebration that merged 1920s glamour with modern-day spectacle, turning a corporate party into an unforgettable immersive experience.

From creative concept development through to entertainment programming, interactive storytelling, and event production, Wonderosity handled aspects of the event for Smart Live — delivering a multi-sensory celebration filled with secrets, spectacle, and non-stop moments of delight.

Highlights of the evening included:

Time tunnel arrival experience, where guests were transported from the modern world into Gatsby’s Roaring Twenties, greeted by vintage paparazzi snapping photos and shouting headlines

Guests were handed a bespoke Gatsby cocktail and a selection of keys — a venue-wide hidden challenge, where only a lucky few would unlock one of twelve concealed boxes containing exclusive prizes

Live entertainment throughout the evening, featuring:

A Postmodern Jukebox-style swing band

Immersive 1920s walkabout performers

Aerial acrobats performing above the crowd

A charismatic close-up magician weaving through the party

Interactive photo and casino stations encouraged guests to mix, mingle, and play, while cocktail flarers and live experiential gastronomy stations kept the drinks flowing and the energy high throughout the evening
